Welcome to Towii
TOWII Renewables is owned by the Danish energy group EWII and Tokyo Gas. The company wants to promote the green transformation and develop sustainable energy in the form of wind turbines, solar power and electricity storage. We’re based in the Triangle Area with projects all over Denmark – and soon internationally as well.

Solar power
Solar power are becoming more and more important to the green transformation. Their price has dropped drastically over the last few years, and an installation of Solar power can now be run completely without subsidies – even in Denmark. Our projects focus on developing and installing Solar power installations and selling the electricity to businesses. This helps contribute to their green profile and reducing their carbon footprint. Our Solar power products are installed on land, and where possible on large industrial unit roofs.
Wind power
Our focus on wind is on wind turbine projects on land. Onshore wind turbines are a key element in realising the green transition and to become independent of fossil fuels. Wind power in Denmark are highly efficient, meaning we get a large number of productive hours out of each one. When we develop new onshore wind turbine products, a dialogue with the neighbours and the public in general is always high on the agenda.

Offshore wind power test centre
TOWII is in the feasibility study stage for a new wind turbine test centre in Hillerup, located between Ribe and Esbjerg. The plan here is to erect offshore wind turbines on which tests of materials and output can be continuously run.
Denmark’s biggest roof-based solar power installation is on the way
Taulov Dry Port’s massive warehouse and logistics buildings will soon be used for a full-scale solar power installation. The roofs have an area totalling 200,000 m2, and will be covered with solar power installations able to generate enough electricity for the annual consumption of 4,200 homes.
