From 1 August, TOWII Renewables will start up activities in Sweden by establishment of a Swedish subsidiary and the employment of Johan Ehrlin as Senior Project Developer. Johan Ehrlin will have the responsibility for building and developing the company’s Swedish project pipeline.

Clear ambitions for internationalisation

“From the very start, TOWII Renewables has had a clear international ambition. Our international outlook is initially focused on developing wind turbine and solar cell parks in the Nordic countries, but over time, other markets in the rest of Europe will also be interesting to us. Our start-up in Sweden thus is the first step towards implementing our international strategy”, says CEO Oliver Wolgast.

“With the employment of Johan Ehrlin, we have succeeded in hiring an experienced project developer who shares the same approach to a good project as we do: close dialogue with the landowners and especially neighbours. I am very happy that Johan has chosen to continue his career in TOWII and I look forward to a really good collaboration with him”, concludes Oliver Wolgast.

Johan Ehrlin also comments on the news: “I see the employment with TOWII as a natural step to develop in synergy with TOWII and the established business plan.

The role itself is a new challenge and I found it very interesting to have the opportunity to build an organisation in a new department of TOWII. I look very much forward to starting at TOWII, and there are good people with broad experience in the Danish organisation to get support from.”
